Welcome to HomeDoor 2.0, a significant new release of our industry-pioneering multi-domain Web service product. The HomeDoor Multi-domain Web Service Manager works with the Web server component of AppleShare IP to let you serve Web sites for multiple domains from a single server. HomeDoor 2.0 supports all browsers, and produces a log of top-level "visits" to each site. Especially when combined with the version of the LogDoor Multi-domain Web Site Monitor included with AppleShare IP, HomeDoor is a great way to leverage your investment and to make your overall system more manageable.
This is an evaluation version of HomeDoor, intended specifically for inclusion with AppleShare IP. It is fully functional, but only supports 2 domains in addition to that of your server. AppleShare IP and host field mapping

HomeDoor 2.0 includes two techniques for providing multi-domain Web service from your Macintosh Web server. Browser-independent redirection, which is implemented through a Macintosh extension, and host field mapping, implemented through a Web server plug-in. Since the current version of AppleShare IP does not support plug-ins, the host field mapping technique can not currently be used with AppleShare IP. Thus the HomeDoor plug-in is not included with this evaluation release.
